The CPU module delivers the core functionality while the application-specific features are designed into the baseboard.STX SoM board, with a suitable baseboard, is an optimized solution for embedded applications with various customized demands, which standard single board computer cannot satisfy and also features a low TCO (Total Cost of Ownership). The STX form factor is PC/104 compliant and is adaptable to existing customer enclosures. The customizable baseboard is great for reducing costs and improving the Time to Market when compared to existing standard single board computers.
